Adobe is hosting a Creative Cloud conference on July 16th, 2014 at their corporate headquarters. This event offers a platform for Adobe enthusiasts, San Jose web design experts, and other creative professionals to network and discuss the latest developments in Adobe Creative Cloud.
There will be several speakers attending the event, including Terry White, a design evangelist and current host of the Adobe Creative Cloud TV. White is a key presenter at major industry shows around the world, and is a columnist for Photoshop User Magazine. Award winning author Colin Smith will also be in attendance. Smith is the founder of PhotoshopCafe and has been featured in major imaging magazines. Joining him will be David Hogue, a UX Design Manager at Google and applied psychologist. Hogue has 15 years of UX design experience and has designed numerous web and mobile sites for retail brands.
While the event is free, reservations must be made ahead of time on EventBrite. The event starts promptly at 6:00 pm, and is followed by several presentations. There will be a separate Q&A session followed by a raffle for a free year-long Creative Cloud membership. Those who cannot attend can access webinars and other material pertaining to Creative Cloud on Adobe’s website.
Adobe launched these events in an effort to bring together creative professionals to discuss the latest Creative Cloud products and features. These events are also held in Europe and Asia. Creative Cloud memberships provide access to Adobe’s range of software for graphic design, web development, mobile, print, and video editing. These applications include Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Muse CC, and TypeKit. Many San Jose web designers use these platforms to carry out web projects, with Edge Reflow CC being a particularly popular tool; this tool enables the development of responsive websites (e.g. sites that adjust to the screen of the device it is being accessed on). Creative Cloud also enables teams to generate portfolios, and access a creative community for feedback and opportunities.
