Launch Brigade Attending Open Web Camp
Web development is a rapidly growing field. It’s not for Marathon runners – it’s for sprinters. Technology is changing every day, and we want to stay ahead of the game.
We are a curious group here at Launch Brigade, always committed to bringing the most current solutions to our design and development work. For those reasons, our web team will attend Open Web Camp this Saturday.
This year’s event brings together an inspiring group of featured speakers, including Jakob Heuser who developed a lot of LinkedIn’s mobile interface, ‘Chaals’ McCathieNevile who is a web standard and accessibility guru, Meadhbh Hamrick who led the effort that became the Virtual Worlds Region Agent Protocol (VWRAP) and who is now working for Mozilla, and several other respected experts.
We are exited to learn the newest tricks about building extensions that will work with all major browsers seamlessly, to find out more about Google Cast (an extension that enables users to locate and play content on your Chromecast device from their Chrome browser), and to get updated on the most current trends of User Interface design.
Open Web Camp also provides us with the possibility of building our team, learning together and, as a result, providing the best service possible to our customers.
Working at a web development agency in the San Francisco area is an exciting and challenging sprint: always on the go, always learning, always keeping our clients’ best interest at heart.
If you’re a developer, we hope to see you this Saturday. If you would like to hire Launch Brigade for your new website, please contact us, and we’ll help your business grow using not only what we already know but also what we have just learned.
